This is my current gaming setup which provides me with hours of entertainment on a regular basis. I spent a huge amount of time deciding which kit to put in here including the Mission M-Cube 7.1 Surround Sounds speakers and the Hauppauge HD PVR, which records all my games in High Definition straight onto my computer. The only thing missing is one of those black evolution playseats, but I suppose you can’t have everything!!

Video Game Musings Bomberman on the PsOne is probably the best social party game ever. With room for 5 players it was a constant fixture in our weekly friends gatherings for over 2 years. With the exception of Tiger Woods Golf, sports simulation are not really my cup tea. If you want to play football just go outside. Resident Evil 4 is the best single player (offline) video game I have played. However I very rarely play offline games now and only play online if there are friends playing too. Getting a Dolby Digital amp with surround sound speakers makes an amazing difference to your gameplay. I can actually hear people sneaking up on me in games such as Modern Warfare 2. You should really try and get an HD television. I remember when Halo 3 was released and some friends came round and saw it on my Sony Bravia HD LCD for the first time, they couldn't believe the difference, much bigger difference than with broadcast television. I don't think I ever took the Goldeneye cartridge out of my N64 console; a truly ground breaking first-person shooter. Gamespot is the most comprehensive, and probably the best video gaming site on the internet.
