This site is dedicated to my
three children,
Charlotte, Danielle and Freddie. I have to say this because the
chances of me writing a book and dedicating it to anyone are pretty slim .......
I'd have to read one first!!!
It's not unusual to have three
children, but it is a little unusual to only have 3 years between the eldest and
youngest.
When
asked to describe what it's like having three small children in the house I have
likened it to having the 'Ant Hill Mob' running riot. When I was their age I
didn't have the luxury of SKY digital with 13 channels showing wall to wall
Scooby Doo or Looney Tunes. Saturday morning was the only chance I got to see
cartoons, which included classics such as 'Wacky Races' featuring the Ant Hill
Mob in their car Chuggaboom.
To give you a better idea of
what it's like, think of the first place you look if you have lost the TV remote
control. In a normal house it's under the sofa ....... the first place I look
nowadays is down the toilet.
There's
something quite amusing about watching three small children go about their
business. One is always the leader (Charlotte),
then you have the 'muscle for hire' (Danielle)
and finally the one that gets to do the dangerous jobs
(Freddie).
Remember those canaries in cages that were used in the 19th century down coal
mines. The
idea being that the canary
was lowered down the mine in
it's cage and left there for a few hours, if it was
still alive when the cage was raised there were
no toxic gases and it was safe
for the miners to work ....... Freddie is the canary in the cage, sent by
Charlotte to investigate potentially dangerous situations ....... if he comes
back unhurt then it's safe to proceed..
On the site you will find
photos of the children from 1999
onwards, there are also numerous video clips
and compilations, some of which would surely make 'You've Been Framed'.
When I first built this site in
2002 there were just a few pictures and a couple of video clips, but slowly I
have added many other
pages to included some of those interests which help keep me sane. I have yet to
succumb to the blogging
craze, so you are unlikely to find preachings from my inner soul posted here.
However you will find pages on movies
I have seen, music that I
occasionally listen too and television series that I think are worth watching.
There are also some pages dedicated to
comedy, which will go a long way in
explaining my warped sense of humour.

As I grew up in an era where
technology has played an ever increasing role in peoples lives, it is not
unusual
for
someone of my age to
still be playing
video games.
You will find pages containing information, views and screenshots
on all sorts of games and consoles from the original Playstation thru to the
cracking Xbox 360.
You will also find a number of pages dedicated to the board game
Talisman,
containing rules, contents and scanned images of the entire contents of the
game. This is without a doubt the best board game ever invented and a game that
I still play occasionally
today.
There is a lot more information on this site than described above, so please take a
look around and if you think I should add anything or you spot the odd mistake, then drop me a mail
or feel free to put some comments in the guest book.
