This site is dedicated to my
three children,
Charlotte,
Danielle and Freddie. I have to say this because the chances of me writing a
book and dedicating it to anyone are pretty slim;
I'd have to read one first!!!
I
first built this site in 2002 with just a few photos and a couple of video clips. A
dial up connection limited the type and amount of content, but slowly as
broadband has become common place I’ve added many more pages.
On this site you will now find many photos and
links to video clips. In the past I upload the video clips directly
to this site but the improvement in the quality of
You Tube,
including High Quality and even High Definition video, means it’s
easier (and cheaper) to host them there.
I have yet to succumb to the Blogging or
Twitter craze, so you are
unlikely to find preachings from my inner soul posted
here. However I do like to try out the latest
technological fads and gadgets for
myself, so I do have accounts with social networking sites such as
Facebook. If
you don’t try these things they you’ll never know. People had never heard of
Sky+ when I got a box in early 2002 and I have screen shots of my Xbox Live
account from early 2004, two things that almost all my friends could not imagine life
without today.
Video gaming does take up a fair proportion of my free time, so it’s only right
that I should at least acknowledge this
with a page on video games. Television and films also compete for my leisure
time so you’ll find some details of what I’ve been watching, and what
you should be too! To complete the audio visual line up I have a page on music.
It’s widely known that I have no taste in music but what I don’t know about
burning, ripping, streaming and organising your music isn’t worth knowing.
Finally,
you will find a number of pages dedicated to the board game
Talisman, containing
rules, contents and scanned images. This is without a doubt the best board game
ever invented and a game I still play today.
There is much more information on this site
than described here, so please take a look around and if you think
I should add anything or you spot the odd mistake then drop me an
e-mail.
